Barcelona Discovery carries out private tours that mix the slow travel and the ecological tourism. Being able to communicate knowledge of nature and respect has been one of the objectives of the Fam Trip organized by the Catalan Tourism Agency, the Regional Council of Vallès Oriental, to a dozen tour operators from different North American states in Vallgorguina.

With this visit, the travel agents were able to get to know and live in first-person the experience of the forests that surround Vallgorguina located in the Parc del Montnegre and the Corredor.

With this Fam Trip, the travel agents have taken a walk where they discovered medicinal plants and herbs for cooking. They have recognized and identified the medicinal Plants that they found along the way; Some are groceries, and some are not.

We’ve done a tasting of herbal teas in Nature to strengthen the respiratory system, where we have talked about plants, their uses, and how important they are for us.
