Come and discover the village of Vic, Osona’s capìtal. With a local guide we will explore the historic center of the village, the city walls, the Roman temple, the town hall…and we’ll arrive to Plaça Major, which is the largest central square in Catalonia. All around this square, there are medieval, barroque and modernist houses and monuments. In this square, on Tuesdays and Saturdays we will find a traditional market with Catalan food.
After that, we will visit the Museu Episcopal, which has one of the world’s finest collections of Romanesque and Gothic art. If you don´t want to visit the inside of the Episcopal museum you will have one hour of free time in the village of Vic. Then we will meet to have a guided tour to know all about Vic dry sausage “llangonissa de Vic”, there we will see the process and the traditional method of elaboration of this sausage. Finally, we will discover the centenary dryers of the firm and we will enjoy tasting the typical traditional catalan product.
